With a heavy heart it saddens me to let you guys know The Vinyls are calling it a day. It’s been a wild ride guys. Seriously, thank you for all the memories. We’ve had a great run and have been blessed to have been so supported and cared for by you all. You guys are absolutely amazing.

We still have a handful of small and medium t-shirts left. If you pay the shipping we’ll send them out to you, no problem. You can email us at thevinylsmusic@gmail.com if you’d still like one.

The Vinyls fall update. 11-18-11

We’ve been semi-quiet over the course of the past couple months. We’ve been hard at work on new songs and in the beginning stages of recording a new record. We’re about three songs in so far and I can confidently say this is the most stoked any of us have been on any group of songs thus far. We feel like we’ve finally found our place.

Since late summer we’ve released some newer music randomly over the internet. You can listen to each song here:

We’re going to be setting up some more shows in & out of state quite soon. Our first priority right now is finishing up the record and we can’t wait to show you guys what we’ve been up to.

First and foremost, we’d like to again say thank you to...

First and foremost, we’d like to again say thank you to all who gave us the ability to record this new music. The Kickstarter was a huge success/help to us and we definitely hope those of you who contributed feel as though you got something special in return(even if things did take a little longer than expected, thank you all for being so understanding)

So let’s get down to it, we realize we’ve been MIA for abit but we’ve been writing/recording and working to shape our sound as a band. We decided that this handful of songs we just recorded are going to be released individually while we set out plans for a full, proper, release.

The music we’ve been working on now feels like ‘home’ to us. A whole new set of influences has come into play and we’re extremely excited. We have written a slew of new material that we’re planning on recording/releasing in the not so distant future. We’ve got something in the works that we’re super excited about, and we’ll hopefully be able to announce within the next month or so.

This summer/fall we’re aiming to start hitting the road and get our feet wet outside of New Jersey. So if you live in/near PA, MA, CT, DE, OH, NY, MD or anywhere around the surrounding areas and book shows/have a sweet basement/or anything really you’d like us to play we’re down! You can get in touch with us at our email. We’re just 110% ready to take things out to all new faces.

In closing, I hope everyone enjoys our song “Jersey City” which can be heard here on our facebook. Keep an eye our for the next couple of tunes.
